Tristin is a licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Childbirth Educator and the founder & operator of Bird & Bee Acupuncture. She holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr University and has received continuing education in Acupuncture for Pregnancy from Debra Betts, L.Ac., Lab Testing and Hormonal Assessment for Fertility and Reproductive Health from Leslie Oldershaw, L.Ac., Optimizing Ovarian Reserve from Brandon Horn, L.Ac. and Wendy Yu L.Ac., as well as in Acupuncture for Fertility from Jane Lyttleton, L.Ac. and Paul Magarelli, M.D., Ph.D.  In addition to acupuncture, she is also certified in childbirth education by Childbirth International. Tristin is also an advocate for CIMS (Coalition for Improving Maternity Services) and The Birth Survey and a member of La Leche League International (LLLI). Prior to her graduate studies, she attended the University of Washington where she studied Anthropology with an emphasis on Medical Anthropology. Tristin has extensive clinical training from the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Wallingford and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she addressed a variety of health conditions under the supervision of some of the leading Acupuncturists in the Seattle area. In addition to working with her wonderful patients, Tristin enjoys spending time with her family raising her two young children.
